Spotless room and gorgeous breakfast with those poached eggs. The location is perfect for a stroll to the whale bones and the beach. Loved the little scissors for the condiments at breakfast too! 😊
Completely flawless.

Had a great stay! Room was clean as, and the breakfast was truly top-notch. Only bummer was the shower pressure could be better. Otherwise, sweet as experience!

What you’ll love and hate
The hosts were incredibly warm and accommodating! We felt right at home, even upon late arrival, which eased our travel anxiety. Plus, the short walk to the center and sea offered the best of both worlds!
Room temperature control was inconsistent, making it a bit chilly at times. the narrow stairs could be a hassle for those with heavy luggage or mobility challenges.

Delicious homemade breakfast with quality ingredients.
The shower pressure was unacceptably low, making it frustrating to bathe properly. the room, while comfortable, had some dust on the corners that had clearly been missed during cleaning. Finally, I wish there had been better communication regarding amenities on arrival. it felt rushed.

Kath was an exceptional host, making us feel immediately welcomed despite our late arrival. The location was ideal, just a short stroll to the town and the beach, and the cleanliness of the room stood out. Breakfast featured quality ingredients, but the shower pressure was disappointing, and it felt a bit cold at night. a charming experience with great service but a few areas for improvement.

Spotlessly clean and excellent breakfast
Just returned from a lovely 2-day stay where the room was impeccably clean, and I absolutely loved the breakfast. The owners were so accommodating and attentive, which made the experience even better. It was a pleasant walk to the town center, perfect for exploring Whitby. The only thing to note is that the shower pressure could use some improvement.

Had a lovely time here! The room was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was to die for, particularly those amazing sausages. Only downside was that the shower ran a bit slow, but it didn't ruin our experience at all. If you're looking for a charming spot with a cozy atmosphere, this is it! 😊

Couples looking for a cozy stay
Kath was so warm and welcoming 😊. We walked to the Abbey, and the stroll was lovely, but coming back uphill was a real workout! !
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but the experience was totally worth it.
